Cleaning shouldn’t stop at the house. Fixing up a car over the weekend is key to entering any week with a fresh start! Here are five tips from Road Loans to cleaning your car!
Brush and vacuum interior surfaces.
Start with hard to reach surfaces and get rid of any dirt with a fine-bristled brush. Take the vacuum over the areas afterward to altogether remove the dirt.
Use a stiff brush on mats and carpets.
The stiff bristles will dislodge any hard-to-remove grime on these surfaces. Again, vacuum up afterward to completely rid your carpet of debris.
Clean the tires with a variety of brushes.
Use larger, stiff-bristled brushes to remove the tough dirt and smaller brushes, such as a toothbrush, to get to the hard-to-reach areas. These, in conjunction with a gentle, non-acid cleaning solution should do the trick.
Handwash the exterior to keep it shining through summer.
Wash with carwash solution and then rinse. Remove excess water with a squeegee.
Wipe windows with microfiber cloths.
These cloths avoid streaks and towel marks. Use a mild cleaner without ammonia instead of glass cleaner because it is easier for your car windows. If you would like to deep clean, roll down your windows to clean the oils that collect.
